RYAN Atkins looks set for a spell on the sidelines.
The Warrington Wolves centre posted a picture on his Instagram story showing him with a cast on his right wrist having undergone an operation.
Atkins, who is in his testimonial year with The Wire, has found first-team minutes hard to come by of late.
With Toby King and Bryson Goodwin established as first-choice centres and with new signing Luther Burrell now available to play, he appears to have been pushed further down the pecking order.
Atkins is also out of contract at the end of the season and is widely expected to leave the club.
