TOM Lineham has been ruled out of The Wire’s trip to Castleford Tigers on Friday night.
The winger picked up a knee injury during the early stages of Sunday’s win over Huddersfield Giants but managed to complete the game.
He appeared in some discomfort towards the end of the match and head coach Steve Price says the trip to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle will come too soon for him.
Bryson Goodwin is another doubt for Wolves and Price says his ankle knock will continue to be monitored throughout the week.
“Tommy won’t play this weekend,” he said.
“He did really well to get through the game with the knee injury he copped early on.
“Bryson’s going really well at the moment. We’ll know more about him later on in the week.
“Other than that, we’re all pretty good. We’ve had a bit of rotation around and everybody is feeling pretty fresh.”
Price did not reveal who would replace Lineham on the wing but Jake Mamo – fit again after an ankle injury – appears favourite.
