BRYSON Goodwin will be missing for “a couple of weeks” with an ankle injury, Warrington Wolves head coach Steve Price has confirmed.
Ryan Atkins will take his place at left centre for Friday’s clash with Wigan Warriors after the Kiwi limped out of the victory over Castleford Tigers during the first half in a tackle by Nathan Massey.
“It’s more of an ankle sprain in simple terms,” Price said.
“He copped a bit of a nasty knock to it from the rotation last week.
“He’ll miss a couple of weeks and Ryan Atkins will come straight back into that centre slot.”
Price also reported no new injuries and says the rest of the team is likely to remain unchanged.
Meanwhile, at a public joint press conference between the two sides at Golden Square shopping centre, Warriors boss Adrian Lam confirmed his side will be without wingers Dom Manfredi and Liam Marshall but will welcome back Joe Greenwood and Dan Sarginson
