WARRINGTON Wolves have revealed that Paul Johnson will not return to action for six to eight weeks while Rob Parker has had an operation to repair his philtrum.
Johnson, who has been sidelined with neck ligament damage since receiving a boot to the jaw during Wolves' clash with St Helens on May 28, has had his injury re-assessed.
Following his consultation with a specialist Johnson will be sidelined until the play-offs at the earliest.
Parker had surgery to repair the damage to his philtrum (top lip) yesterday.
The injury occurred following a clash of heads during Wolves' crushing 43-24 victory over Wigan.
The surgery was a success and Parker is due to see his specialist on Monday to assess the progress of his recovery.
