I THINK Sunday's game against Wigan will be our toughest test for a while.

I think we're playing really well and as long as we keep playing like that we won't go far wrong when we're playing the better teams.

We've won games by quite big scores recently. I'm not saying they weren't against good sides but Wigan have got a lot of top names and are a good side, so it will be a big game.

Wigan have been beaten in the Challenge Cup so we might cop the backlash.

I missed the game on Sunday but I saw highlights. Catalans played really well and Wigan will be fired up this week.

We've just been training as usual in the last couple of weeks but everyone's a lot happier because we've been winning.

Things always go better when you're winning.

We had three days off at the start of last week to relax because there was no game.

Then we came back and trained really hard as usual.

Confidence has been the secret recently and our defence has been a lot better.

We've never had trouble scoring points but we've been defending well and everyone's confident now we've got a few wins.

I think our new assistant coach Jimmy Lowes has fitted in really well.

I played with him for one year at Bradford and he's a good bloke.

He's done a lot of defensive work with us and everyone likes him. He's a good coach, so he can only help us. It's good when someone fresh comes in and helps out.

I've been playing on the right wing recently and it's a bit quieter there but it's good.

I've played on the wing plenty of times before and I played a couple of seasons there with Bradford.

It's good playing outside Gleese because he's a good bloke to get a lot of ball from.

He's one of the best centres around and he's definitely a winger's centre. He sets up a lot of tries.

I think Bridgey's come back fresh and found his form now he has cleared all his injuries.

You only have to see his performances to see he's gone really well. Everyone's playing really well.

I only really found out on Tuesday about Paul Cullen's new contract but we like him as a coach so we were pleased.

I think it ends the uncertainty. A lot of the lads are out of contract as well but that happens at clubs every year.

Everyone just deals with it in their own way and it doesn't affect anything. People have got a job to do and it's part and parcel of the job.

I was sad to see Richie Barnett go but he wasn't playing here so he's got to play from his own point of view.

I haven't spoken to him since he went to Salford but he's played all right there.

I'm sure he'll go well wherever he goes, he's a nice bloke.

But it's one down in the Yorkshire car. We've got more driving to do now!
