CROSFIELDS soccer team continue their preparations for the new season in Cheshire League Division One with three home games in six days.
Andy Moore's side tackle Monk Sports at Hood Lane tonight, Thursday, at 6.30pm, before entertaining Waterloo Dock on Saturday at 3pm and then Moorfields on Tuesday at 6.30pm.
Presidents Cup holders Crosfields, who drew 4-4 at home to Ashton Town on Saturday, begin the new season at home to Styal on August 11 and Moore is pleased with the way preparations are coming together.
He said: "I think we are developing a good young side and everything is very positive. I think we're good enough to be knocking on the door of the title if we can get off to a good start."
To improve on last season's mid-table finish, Crosfields will need improved success in front of goal and new striker Stuart Walstead bagged one against Ashton, with Lee Boardman adding two and Neil Holden also chipping in with one.
