AUSTRALIAN Test forward Steve Price has accepted an invitation from New Zealand to play for the All Golds against the Northern Union at Warrington's Halliwell Jones Stadium on October 20.
Andrew Johns and Darren Lockyer had previously been selected as the Australian representative in the Kiwi side for the commemorative match but both had to withdraw because of injury.
Price has now been called up and the 33-year-old prop, who plays for New Zealand Warriors, said it was 'mind-blowing' to receive an invitation to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the All Golds' tour to the United Kingdom in 1907.
"I'm really honoured to be asked," he said. "It's a fantastic way to celebrate 100 years since the All Golds went to England."
