STRETTON'S Sunday side were unable to hang on to a draw at Winnington Park at the weekend.
Stretton made 140 for 8 from their 45 overs, with Pat Flanagan hitting 37 and Ray Potts finishing unbeaten on 27.
But Stretton's Northwich opponents reached the target with three wickets and three balls to spare despite off spinner Jason Taylor and pace bowler Graham Langford both taking 3 for 24.
Stretton's first team host Wistaton Village in the Meller Braggins League on Saturday, while the seconds travel to Weaverham and the Sunday side entertain Mobberley.
