WARRINGTON Athletics Club finished second in the final match of the Young Athletes League in Carlisle on Sunday.
Warrington also held on to sixth position in the overall league despite being short of athletes in certain categories throughout the year.
Samantha Hallsworth had treble success in Carlisle after wins in the under 13s girls' 800m, 75m hurdles and long jump.
Teammate Caitlin Hayes won the 800m and long jump B events, while Hayley Darbyshire completed the 100m and 200m sprint double in the under 17s age group.
Other female A competition wins came from Lizzie Heaven in the under 15s 1500m, Abbi Nicholson in the under 15s high jump and Sarah Griffiths in the under 17s 1500m.
Jack Gleave recorded the fourth fastest under 13s boys' 800m time in the UK this year on the way to victory, as well as winning the 100m B race.
James Webster won the 75m hurdles, 200m B and high jump B, while Oliver Wells won the 100m and 200m.
The under 13s 4x100m relay team of Wells, Stephen Darbyshire, Lee Lockwood-Bent and Gleave were victorious, while Adam Nicholls won the under 15s 100m and long jump.
James Gladman won the 80m hurdles and also combined with Alex Wort, James Sutton and Nicholls to win the 4x100m relay.
Martyn Corcoran and Luke Miller-Briggs each won three events in the under 17s category, with Corcoran triumphing in the 200m, 100m B and long jump B.
Miller-Briggs was successful in the 100m, long jump and 200m B, while Matt Jackson, Danny Cliffe, Corcoran and Stephen Broadhurst coasted to an easy victory in the 4x400m relay.
