WOLVES have moved up to fifth position in the Super League table after Wigan were deducted four points at a salary cap hearing on Wednesday night.
Wigan were found guilty of breaching the 2006 salary cap by £222,314 and have been deducted points this season as a result.
Wigan's drop to ninth in the table means that Wolves, who climbed back into the top six for the first time since Easter on Sunday, move up another place to fifth.
