MARK Gleeson and Andy Bracek have penned new deals to keep them at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Both were scheduled to be out of contract at the end of the season but 25-year-old hooker Gleeson has signed a new one-year contract, while 20-year-old forward Bracek has committed his future to the club for the next two seasons.

Bracek, who can play as a prop or in the second row, has expressed his pleasure at being given a new deal and is now targeting a regular spot in the first team, having already figured in nine matches this year.

And the former St Helens player is determined to figure in this season's play-offs after missing out in previous years.

On his ambitions for the future, he said: "I just want to get into the team, make as big an impact as I can and maybe earn myself a new contract in two years' time.

"I want to play in the play-offs because I've never actually played in a play-off.

"I started senior rugby when I was 17 and I've never actually played a play-off game in my two seasons with Warrington.

"It would be a dream to play in the play-offs, get to the Grand Final and win the Grand Final. It's a really achievable goal for us."

Bracek could get the chance to feature significantly in the latter stages of 2007 after the departure of Mike Wainwright and an injury to Paul Rauhihi, who could be out for some time after developing internal bleeding in his throat after Sunday's match at Hull KR.

Rauhihi has been having breathing difficulties after developing a haematoma the size of a golf ball near his trachea following an accidental elbow in the latter stages of the match at Craven Park.

The Kiwi prop is currently unable to train and will see a specialist next week to reassess his condition.

Wolves, who have no game this weekend, hope Paul Johnson (neck) and Vinnie Anderson (back) will be fit to figure in the home match against Wigan on August 5 but some of their younger players could still get a chance in the last remaining games.

That pleases Bracek, who saw fellow rising star Kevin Penny pen a new deal last week.

Bracek said: "We're building for the future. Me and Kev will be here for years to come, it's all about building and it's good to see us getting our rewards.

"We're all hungry and we really appreciate what we've been given. We've worked hard for it, especially Kev.

"He played one game last year but he's took his chance with both hands this year and has shown everyone in England what he can do.

"I'm really pleased to sign my contract. I think Cull's pleased with me and I think the board are pleased.

"Warrington is a massive club now. We can only get stronger and with the signings we've made for next year it's a massive statement of what we want to do.

"We've signed Matt King, Michael Monaghan, Chris Hicks and Louis Anderson and they're all world class players, so we're looking to bring class in.

"And I think it includes the likes of me, Ben Harrison, Simon Grix and Chris Bridge, building from people who are a bit younger as well for the future."

After Gleeson and Bracek put pen to paper, Paul Cullen said: "I'm delighted that these young players see their future with this club."

Gleeson will join Jon Clarke in Wolves' hooker options for next year, with NRL side Canterbury Bulldogs confirming on Friday that Michael Sullivan will join them on a two-year deal from 2008.
