WARRINGTON Dolphins swimmer Michaela Richard was crowned Cheshire champion in the 3km race at the British Long Distance Swimming Association Bala Championships in north Wales.
Richard finished third overall in the women's race in 48mins 44secs, while Andy Wright was third in the men's race in 51mins 18secs to also secure the Cheshire title.
Christian Wade finished third in the six-mile two-way championship in 3hrs 5mins 7secs with Mark Blewitt seventh in 3hrs 50mins 48secs and Jo Norton-Barker fourth in the women's race in 3hrs 47mins 42secs.
Norton-Barker then finished third in the women's three-mile race in 1hr 53mins 13secs with Joe Coy seventh in the men's race in 2hrs 23secs, Tom Towey 10th in 2hrs 15mins 42secs and Dave Bowker 11th in 2hrs 21mins 35secs.
Richard won the female all comers title in the Dee Mile race in 23mins 18secs with Christian Wade fifth in the men's race ahead of Wright, sixth, Mark Blewitt, eighth, Chris Carter, 12th, and Bowker, 15th.
Warrington Triathlon Club's Rob Hough finished 27th, while Mark Livingstone was 43rd.
