MATT King celebrated his move to Warrington Wolves for next year with a try in Melbourne Storm's 44-0 thrashing of Newcastle Knights in the NRL on Monday.
The Australian centre, who announced last week that he will join Wolves in 2008, touched down his sixth try in five games as leaders Melbourne maintained their stranglehold on the league.
Melbourne, who host Canberra on Saturday, lead second-placed Manly by four points and there is now a six-point gap between the Sea Eagles and the rest after their 34-4 victory against Wests Tigers on Friday.
Warrington-bound Michael Monaghan produced an impressive performance at hooker, surging past several defences to touch down from dummy half in the first half before landing a 40/20 after the interval, while Chris Hicks also featured in the win for Manly, who travel to Cronulla on Friday.
Louis Anderson was not selected for New Zealand Warriors' 44-16 win against St George-Illawarra Dragons on Sunday, instead scoring a try in a victory for the reserve grade team.
