A FINE spell of bowling by Richard Hudd inspired Grappenhall to their second Cheshire County Cricket League Division Two win of the season at Sale on Saturday.
He took six wickets in a hostile 10-over spell to reduce Sale to 42 for 6 in reply to Grappenhall's 194 for 7 declared.
Grappenhall's score owed much to Ian Barnes, 45, with Chris France and Ian Jackson both scoring 35, Richard Green making 27 and Paul Radage 20. Barnes and Jackson also took useful wickets to seal the victory.
Grappenhall are at home to Congleton on Saturday.
