PAUL Cullen has assured Wolves fans that the club are in no danger of breaking the habits of a lifetime and going over the salary cap limit.
Wolves have always been careful to abide by Super League's salary cap regulations and, at a time when St Helens, Bradford and Wigan face hearings over potential breaches, Cullen was keen to point out that the club had no intention of breaking the spending limit - despite this week's big money signing of Matt King.
"We're within salary cap this year and we want to be within salary cap next year," he said.
"That part of our working profile is very important to this club.
"Whenever we are discussing players coming and going, the salary cap is always on our agenda.
"We are never looking to breach it or go beyond it and that will play out over the next few weeks.
