WOLVES skipper Lee Briers praised his forwards after Sunday's success at Huddersfield Giants.

In stark contrast to the previous week in France, he was able to punch the air in delight on the final hooter rather than slump to the floor with disappointment.

He said: "I can probably have a couple of sleeps now.

"I thought the big guys in the middle dominated their six, which is no mean feat at Huddersfield.

"Defence has been the focus in training and it showed."
