WARRINGTON’S 1974 Challenge Cup winning squad will be having a reunion at the Wolves versus Brisbane Broncos game tomorrow night.
Dave Wright, second rower in that glorious win over Featherstone Rovers, has flown over from Brisbane for the occasion.
We asked him, Barry Philbin and Bobby Wanbon to share their thoughts on tomorrow’s World Club Series clash when they met up at today’s open-training session at Victoria Park.
Wright, who played alongside Broncos coach Wayne Bennett at Brisbane Brothers, said: “I think the Broncos will be very hard to beat, they’re in top shape.
“They’re a side that just keeps working. You’ve got to get up on the Broncos and not let them run their own game. You have to put pressure on them and if Warrington do that, they’ll have a good chance.”
