CHESHIRE Wire Basketball Club are inviting supporters to watch matches after moving to a permanent venue.
The club, featuring teams at under 14s, 16s and 18s level in the National Basketball League, previously played games on a number of courts across the town but have now moved in at Birchwood Leisure & Tennis Complex.
Colin Holce, publicity and marketing officer for the club, said: "The excellent facility which the centre provides offers a unique opportunity to further develop National League basketball in the Warrington area.
"Thanks to this valued new partnership with the owners, Birchwood CommunityHigh School, the club now have a blueprint for the future to add to the successes already achieved since forming in Spring, 2013.
"With a spectator capacity now of 500, Cheshire Wire invite readers to come along and witness this new spectacle."
Six home games take place this weekend.
Fixtures: Saturday, under 16s: Cheshire Wire v Trafford Magic, 11am; Cheshire Wire Green v Lancashire Spinners Bury, 1pm.
Sunday, under 18s: Cheshire Wire I v Preston Pride I, 1pm. Under 16s: Cheshire Wire White v Preston Pride, 1pm. Under 14s: Cheshire Wire Green v Manchester Giants White, 3pm, Cheshire Wire White v Manchester Giants Green, 3pm.
Results, National League: Under 18s: Cheshire Wire II 69 Trafford Magic 34; Cheshire Wire I 74 Preston Pride 59.
Under 16s: Lancashire Spinners Bury 34 Cheshire Wire White 82; Liverpool Basketball Black 50 Cheshire Wire Green 64.
