SPECTRUM Striders' ladies team returned to winning ways in the third race of the North West Cross Country League on Saturday.
Claire Andrew was fourth, Jude Peck seventh, and Alison Russell ninth. Following their fourth and second placings in the first two legs, the ladies are now provisionally in top place with three races to go.
A combined team of local runners from Lymm, Warrington Road Runners and Helsby RC placed seventh, with Warrington Running Club eighth in their first season in the league.
Striders were fifth in the men's race, the combined team sixth and Warrington 12th. Karl Steinegger, third, the top local runner.
