WARRINGTON'S Jesse Lingard looks set to be rewarded for his fine form with Manchester United.
The 22-year-old forward, who grew up in Longford, is reported to be set for talks with Old Trafford chiefs over improved contract terms.
His appearance in United's Premier League 2-1 win at Watford on Saturday, when he was a constant threat running behind the defence, was his third successive start.
Lingard was part of an England squad that welcomed France to Wembley last week.
And that followed having found the target for the first time in the Premier League as a Red as Louis van Gaal's side beat West Brom 2-0 at Old Trafford.
His form, going into Wednesday night's home Champions League clash with PSV, has impressed van Gaal and his number two Ryan Giggs, also creating the match-winner against CSKA Moscow earlier this month.
Lingard's current deal runs out in June 2018, terms he agreed in February this year before going out on loan to Derby for the rest of the 2014-15 season.
