WARRINGTON recorded a remarkable 8-7 home win against Timperley in North West Hockey League Division Eight North on Saturday.
Warrington, who were promoted last week, faced relegation-threatened Timperley and incredibly the half-time score was 6-6.
Timperley took the lead in the second half but Warrington levelled before Mark Taylor grabbed the winner in the closing stages.
Richard Taylor, Simon Batey and Anthony Nickson all struck twice for Warrington, with Mike Vickers also on target.
