WARRINGTON Wizards coach Danny Lima has turned his focus to the start of the Conference National after his side finished second in Group Seven in the Northern Rail Cup.
Wizards lost at home to Bramley Buffaloes on Saturday and are now out of the cup, with only table-toppers Bramley going through.
Wizards' league campaign starts at Huddersfield Underbank Rangers on April 7 and Lima, who played for Wakefield's under 21s against former club Warrington Wolves on Sunday, said: "We can now knuckle down in training and get ourselves prepared for our opening league game.
"We want to hit the ground running and the six Northern Rail Cup games that we have played will put us in good stead.
"We went into the competition with the intention of topping the group and qualifying for the last 16 but alas that was not to be."
