Latchford Albion 2 Bank Quay Bulls 88.
FORMER Warrington and Great Britain forward John Fieldhouse made a substitute appearance in Bank Quay's thrashing of town rivals Latchford on Saturday.
The 44-year-old coach entered the field during the second half of the North West Counties Amateur Rugby League Premier Division at Victoria Park but knocked on with his first touch.
The match was already won when he came on, though, with Bank Quay running in 16 tries against a depleted Latchford outfit.
Nick Owen's penalty had given Latchford the lead but Ste Fisher crossed for Bulls and further first-half tries followed from Ste Caley, Phil Braddish, Anthony Braide, Dean Braddish and Lee Caldwell, with Jon Walker adding a brace.
Anthony Braide landed six goals before the interval before kicking five more in the second half, which included tries from Lee Brown and Alan Clare.
Fieldhouse's son, Ryan, and Craig Millington both crossed twice with Phil Braddish scoring his second of the game and Walker completing his hat-trick, while Caldwell added a goal.
Bank Quay play their final away league game of the season at Bold Miners on Saturday at 2.30pm.
