Warrington Wizards 24 Bramley Buffaloes 44.

WIZARDS raced into an early 14-point lead but were eventually beaten at Wilderspool.

Alan Kilshaw scored Wizards' opening try, with Danny Shaw converting, before Matt Wilson touched down an interception try.

Shaw converted and then landed a penalty to make it 14-0 but last year's National League Three champions hit back with eight tries.

Bramley led 16-14 at half time and scored again before Shaw twisted over, with Andy Fyles scoring a consolation try on his Wizards debut after three more Buffaloes tries.
