WARRINGTON Dolphins swimmer Rachel Byrne has booked a place in the National Long Course Championships in Sheffield in July.
That results from finishing first in the 13-year-olds' 50m backstroke in 34.59secs in the Lancashire Championships in Manchester.
She also finished second, gaining a national qualifying time in the 200m backstroke in 2mins 31secs, as well as placing fourth in the 100m backstroke in 1min 12.03secs.
She finished off her excellent weekend's swimming by gaining personal bests in the 400m freestyle and 400m individual medley.
