PAUL Rauhihi felt basic errors again cost Wolves victory at Wakefield on Sunday.

Wolves were beaten 30-24 at Belle Vue, having come from 16-6 down to lead 24-16 early in the second half.

And Rauhihi, who captained the side in the absence of the injured Lee Briers, felt frustrated that old issues had come back to haunt Wolves.

He said: "The things that keep hounding us, like errors and penalties, don't do us any good and that's what let us down again.

"We worked so hard to get the lead and threw it away."

But the Kiwi prop hopes Wolves will have corrected their ways by the time they host Hull KR in the Challenge Cup on Saturday.

He said: "Everyone's switching on to that game now and we'll try to learn from the Wakefield game."
