CRAIG Clare saved a last-minute penalty to put Cheshire Hawthorne into the Warrington Sunday Soccer League Premier Cup Final.

Ian Whitfield put Hawthorne 1-0 up against Vulcan in the 60th minute of the semi final at Victoria Park and Clare then made the crucial save from the spot.

Seven Woods have reached the final of the Red Lion Cup after goals from Stuart Wellstead, Simon Howarth and Steven Gough gave them a 3-0 victory against Rosies Bar.
