SPARTAK clinched a convincing 4-0 win against rivals Orford Blackburne Arms Reserves in Warrington Soccer League Division Four on Saturday.
Paul McGhee scored two goals for Spartak, with Scott Robinson and Steven Rice also on target, while Gary Owens impressed at the back.
Paul Fearnley scored twice and Andrew Boyle also found the net as Orford Blackburne Arms' first team won 3-0 at Vulcan Arms in Division Two.
Paul Barnett scored four times as Grange Sports Club moved up to third with a 7-2 hammering of Avon Athletic. Chris Kirby, Phil Wilson and Wes Dolphin were Grange's other scorers.
Matt Bush scored both goals for Grange Reserves as they reached the semi finals of the Rylands Cup with a 2-1 second-round win against Fife Rangers Reserves.
