Crewe FC 2 Warrington Town Reserves 6.
CREWE FC were the unlucky team to suffer the backlash as Warrington Town Reserves ended a run of six league games without a win in emphatic style.
Town, who gave a run-out to first-team keeper Richie Mottram on his return from a knee injury, recorded their biggest victory of the season despite falling behind in the opening stages.
Lee Boardman soon levelled the match but Crewe scored another goal against the run of play before Town took control, with a header from Boardman and a goal from Owen Ellis giving them a half-time lead.
Andy Potter then made it 4-2 and Sean Preston added another before substitute Keiran Salmon completed an impressive win.
Town Reserves: Mottram, Parr, Brown, Brownbill, Hall, Boardman, Warburton, Ellis, Sweeney, Preston (Salmon), Potter (Toone). Sub not used: Tyrer.
