LATCHFORD continued a run of poor form with a defeat at Ashton in appalling weather conditions. Repeat mistakes cost them dearly and hopefully things will improve with increased effort on the training field.

BURTONWOOD turned in an excellent performance with only 12 players, although that did not hinder the style of play and Hamilton cashed in with a hat-trick of tries. The pack played particularly well.

RYLANDS' defence let them down several times and they struggled to break down their opposition. Ben Walker scored their try and James Clayton was the player of the match.
