Southport and Ormskirk 22 Woolston Rovers 42.
A STRONG second half from Woolston Rovers ensured that they stay at the top of North West Counties Amateur Rugby League Division Six.
Due to a number of postponements, four points were on offer in Saturday's match and Southport were unable to capitalise after taking a 4-0 lead.
Tries by Mark Roughneen, Lee Hunter and Liam Horrigan put Rovers 18-10 in command at the break. Southport closed the gap to 16-18 but four tries in 15 minutes - three from Roughneen and one from Stephen Lawley - put Rovers out of reach.
