WOLVES will continue to simplify their playing style when they travel to Wakefield on Sunday.
Paul Cullen felt a more expansive style had got them into trouble on occasions during the opening weeks of the season so opted for a no frills approach for Sunday's home game against Hull KR in the absence of halves Chris Bridge and Lee Briers.
That resulted in a good performance and a 30-12 victory, so it will be a case of same again against Wakefield, who have upset the odds to currently sit second in Super League.
"It has to be," said Cullen.
"We've got enough talent on the edge. Paul Johnson and Martin Gleeson can open up the best and tightest of defences, as proven at the weekend.
"What we've got to do is give them enough ball and enough good field position to utilise their skills.
"What we don't need to be doing is forcing passes, like we have done on occasions in the first five games, and putting ourselves under pressure defending our try line for considerable periods."
