ADRIAN Morley will visit hospital on Monday to find out the extent of the new damage to his left eye socket.

Morley fractured the eye socket on his debut at Wigan five weeks ago and suffered a blow to the same area of his face after an accidental clash of heads with teammate Paul Johnson 17 minutes into Wolves' 30-12 home win against Hull KR today, Sunday.

The game was the Great Britain international's first since sustaining the original injury at Wigan but he was unable to return to the field after the clash of heads, although he did watch the second half from the bench.

Paul Cullen was reluctant to make any estimates about the seriousness of the injury before Morley visits hospital, saying: "He got a bang right on the same point. There's nothing conclusive at the moment so we'll take our time to reassess it."

Lee Briers and Chris Bridge missed the game with respective hamstring and groin injuries and Cullen is still taking a cautious approach regarding their possible returns, with Wolves travelling to Wakefield next Sunday.

"They're short-term," he said. "They may have a chance of Wakefield. If not, Hull KR, and if not that, Salford.

"We'll take it day by day, as we will have to do now with Adrian Morley."
