WARRINGTON Wasps clinched victory in the Congleton Central Venue basketball tournament after securing three wins out of three.
Wasps came from six points adrift to edge past Preston Pride 18-16 in the opening match, with Alex Brierly getting them back in the game before Jordan Whelan won it with two free throws.
Wasps dominated throughout their 24-14 victory against Congleton Basketball Club, with Chris Walsh, Dan Jones and George Scott racking up the points.
Warrington then met Bromborough Bulldogs in the decider and triumphed 31-23, with Pete Mulvanny dominating under the basket and the tournament's most valuable player, Joe Heywood, scoring 11 second-half points.
