WOOLSTON Rovers head the North West Counties Amateur Rugby League Division Six table after a thriller with Moss Bank Bulldogs.
Moss Bank led 22-12 after two tries at the start of the second half but tries from Paul Berry and Adam Williams put Rovers 24-22 in front.
Bank hit back to go two points in front but Rovers' determination was rewarded when Mark Roughneen scored the winning try with his second touchdown of the afternoon.
