A PARTNERSHIP between Warrington Rugby Union Club and Bridgewater High School is flourishing.
A scrummaging machine funded between the school and the club has arrived and is being put into good use.
The machine is being used by the school teams, as pictured, for the development of forward play, while it will help technical and tactical play of all teams.
Warrington RUFC and Bridgewater High School are in the second year of a six-year plan, which is supported by the Rugby Football Union.
Coaching, sponsorship, shared facilities, kit and equipment are all part of the current initiatives aimed at making the school and club a centre of excellence for rugby union, becoming one of the strongest partnerships of its kind in the region.
