LYMM High School have done it again.

Their under 15s rugby team have reached a cup final at Twickenham, following on from the under 18s team's success at the home of England Rugby Union in last year's Daily Mail Cup Final.

Lymm's under 15s will face St Pauls, of Barnes, in the Daily Mail Schools Under 15s Cup Final on March 28 after defeating Wellington College in the semi finals in Wolverhampton on Saturday.

Lymm reached the under 15s semi finals in 2003 but were blown away 35-0 by the Whitgift side that went on to lift the title.

This year's side looks like a superior vintage and successfully shut down a dangerous Wellington side en route to a 19-6 success.

Fly half Tom Rowe kicked two first-half penalties for Wellington, who only trailed by a point at the interval following prop Jay Widdrington's try converted by Luke Emmitt.

But Elliott Heward and Lewis Johnson touched down after the break and Emmitt added another conversion to close out the win.

"We knew Wellington could play some really lovely rugby and that we'd have to shut them down - we didn't let them play," said Lymm coach Simon Baker.

"They had a lot of dangerous players but we went after them. Now we're in the final and our boys are really excited at the prospect."
