THELWALL rugby union star David Strettle will make his third appearance for England in their Six Nations clash in Wales on Saturday with praise ringing in his ears from some of the game's biggest names.

Strettle will again line up on the right wing at the Millennium Stadium in the final match of the tournament, which kicks off at 5.30pm and could decide the destination of the trophy, with England needing a big win to finish top of the table.

And the 23-year-old winger is being tipped for a long England career after another highly impressive performance in the 26-18 win against France at Twickenham on Sunday.

Having made a try-scoring debut in the defeat to Ireland last month, the France game was Strettle's first win in an England shirt and more acclaim was heaped upon the Harlequins man.

Jonathan Davies, the former Wales rugby union and Warrington rugby league star, has said that Strettle has something really special' and joined England's World Cup hero Jonny Wilkinson by declaring that the former Lymm High School pupil could look forward to a bright future'.

French legend Thomas Castaignede also described Strettle as a matchwinner' and one of the big threats of the England team'.

The former Lymm RFC and Warrington RUFC player has been named as the Premiership player of the month for February and is seventh on the all-time list of England Sevens try scorers.
