THIRD-placed Eagle rugby union team beat table toppers Tyldesley in North West Intermediate League Division Five West.
Al Grace scored the first and last tries for Eagle, who dominated Saturday's second half after leading by one try at the interval.
Eagle number eight Steven Leigh stormed over for a fine try and others followed from Jack Bainczyk, Andy Brown and Barry Whalley.
Andy Giblin was the man of the match with great support coming from Darren Cullen, Leigh, Whalley and Graham Barlow.
