WARRINGTON Hockey Club were fortunate to secure a 2-2 draw against Lytham St Annes in North West Division Eight North at the weekend.
Mark Taylor pounced on a rebound to equalise after Lytham had taken the lead and, although Warrington's opponents again surged in front, Ian Richards levelled for a second time after a fine individual run.
Warrington stay second in the league and travel to challengers Northern in their next game, which could be a promotion decider.
