MICHAEL Cooper will have his shoulder inspected again as a result of problems suffered since an operation at the end of 2006.

Cooper had a reconstruction after picking up the injury at the back end of last season and had made a comeback in pre-season and in the under 21s.

But the 18-year-old forward was forced to withdraw from the first-team squad for the Harlequins game, leading to a late recall for Ben Harrison from his loan spell at Widnes.

And, even though Cooper recovered sufficiently to play for the under 21s last weekend, he is still having problems with his shoulder.

"Michael Cooper is going back to have his shoulder checked because he's having a few problems with it," said Wolves boss Paul Cullen.

"He was in the frame as 18th man for the Harlequins game early last week but he picked up another bang on the same shoulder and dropped out of the frame, then banged it in the under 21s again at the weekend."
