WARRINGTON Road Club had eight riders in action last weekend.
Three riders went to Chester Road Club's 28-mile hilly time trial on a windswept open course around Broxton.
Warrington's riders narrowly missed the team prize due to a mechanical problem for Dave Edmonds.
Steve Hankey finished overall third in 1hr 8mins 28secs, while Darrell Webster was eighth in 1hr 11mins 32secs and Dave Edmonds was 15th in 1hr 15mins 22secs.
Alf Hilton, who was fifth in 23mins 14secs, led home Warrington's quintet in the Manchester and District 10-mile time trial.
