PAUL Cullen says the form of Mike Wainwright has allowed Wolves to cope without Adrian Morley.

Wolves lost Morley, who could return next week against Hull KR, with a fractured eye socket in the first match of the season but have barely missed their star signing, winning two of their last three games.

"I think that's down to Mike Wainwright," said Cullen, referring to the veteran second rower who has moved into the starting line-up since Morley's injury.

"Mike is not a natural bench player and likes to go the distance. I thought Mike was very good for us at Harlequins, as he has been in all the games he's played.

"He consistently does 80 minutes as a back row forward and I thought he was massive for us at the weekend.

"His defence and his ability to hold shape and structure and organise the team around him is very valuable to us."
