WARRINGTON referee Karl Kirkpatrick has announced that he is to move to rugby union.
Kirkpatrick quit as a rugby league official on Wednesday after taking charge of the Super League Grand Final in October.
The 42-year-old has now begun working with St Helens rugby union club West Park to hone his union refereeing skills.
