EUROPEAN Tour golfer Phil Archer will be bidding to build on a decent display in Thailand when he starts the Singapore Masters today, Thursday.
The 34-year-old Birchwood Golf Club professional finished tied 34th at the Johnnie Walker Classic in Phuket on Sunday after completing the event on three under par.
Archer started the tournament with a disappointing 74 but made six birdies during a second day round of 69.
He went one better with seven birdies in a brilliant third round of 67, which put him joint 11th on Saturday night, before falling away on the final day with a 75.
