THELWALL rugby union star David Strettle has been named in England's team to face France in the Six Nations at Twickenham on Sunday.

Strettle scored a try from the left wing on his England debut in Ireland two weeks ago and will line up in his more favoured right-wing berth against the French, with Josh Lewsey switching to full back to cover for the injured Olly Morgan.

The 23-year-old former Lymm RFC and Warrington RUFC player had been a slight injury doubt after picking up a dead leg during a club game for Harlequins on Saturday.

But he has recovered sufficiently to be named in an England team without the injured Jonny Wilkinson and Andy Farrell for the 3pm kick-off.
