Harlequins 12 Warrington Wolves 19

WOLVES made it two wins from two away games this season after coming from 12-0 down to win at the Stoop on Saturday.

It is the first time Wolves have won their first two matches on the road since 2003 and the victory lifted them to fifth in the Super League table - level on points with each of the top four sides.

A poor start in the capital allowed Quins - unbeaten in six home games - to race ahead, with Matt Gafa surging through a gaping hole in the Wolves defence in the seventh minute after neat play from Scott Hill and Mark McLinden.

Paul Sykes converted that try and was on target again eight minutes later after Hill had taken advantage of Vinnie Anderson's missed tackle to touch down.

Wolves did not even enter the Harlequins half in that opening spell but they were back in the game in the 18th minute with a try from a scrum, with Lee Briers supplying Martin Gleeson with the chance to display his footwork and score.

Gleeson's offload then allowed Briers to stab the ball through for Henry Fa'afili to score his 50th Super League try after jinking past Chris Melling in the 29th minute.

Fa'afili scored in the corner nine minutes after half time to make it 12-12, with quick hands from Gleeson again playing a key part, before winger Brent Grose flipped the ball inside to allow supporting full back Stuart Reardon to put Wolves in front for the first time in the 62nd minute.

Chris Bridge converted that try and Briers landed a late drop goal to seal victory for Wolves, who have now conceded only 22 points in two away games and prevented Quins from scoring a single point in the final 65 minutes of the match.
