THE top positions in Warrington Snooker League Division Two are a little clearer this week.
Second-placed Roosters A won their game in hand 7-0 and then beat Stockton Heath A 4-3, but leaders Walkers B responded by beating Rylands B 7-0 and so the gap is seven points.
Third place belongs to Penketh Legion A, who won 4-3 at GTBL A but are 10 points behind the leaders.
Division Three is the most open section with Penketh Cons A going back to the top after winning 5-2 at second-placed Culcheth Legion to open up a two-point gap.
Only one point further back are Tetley OF, who won 5-2 at Snookers B, and still have a game in hand on the others.
It will be hard for anyone to catch Newton Social at the top of Division One after they won 6-1 at third-placed Alford D and lead by six points from Richmonds, who are trying to stay in touch after beating Winwick Social 5-2.
