WARRINGTON Town are expected to hand a debut to striker Chris McDonagh when they host Alsager on Saturday.
McDonagh rejoins Town for a second spell from Conference North side Leigh RMI and is in line to play in this weekend's UniBond First Division clash at Cantilever Park, kick-off 3pm.
Town's match at Bamber Bridge on Saturday was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch and will now be played on March 20, meaning that Dave Tickle's ban will now be served against Alsager.
Town, who are currently fourth from bottom, also saw a home friendly against Prescot Cables washed out on Tuesday.
They may be able to field another signing from Leigh on Saturday and Graeme Mitchell (hamstring) could be back.
Richie Mottram (knee) returned to training this week and could play again soon, while club captain Dougie Pitts is also back in training but is still some way off a return after a knee operation.
