THELWALL'S David Strettle looks likely to be handed a second England appearance in their Six Nations match against France at Twickenham on March 11.
Strettle, who made a scoring England debut on the left wing in Ireland on Saturday, has been named in a 28-man squad for the French game and will face competition from Jason Robinson and Mark Cueto for a wing spot.
Robinson, whose neck injury meant Strettle received a late call-up for England's trip to Dublin, is likely to be fit again but Strettle was picked ahead of Cueto at the weekend and impressed enough to merit another chance.
Josh Lewsey, who played on the right wing against Ireland, is expected to play at full back against France as cover for the injured Olly Morgan.
England squad: Lewsey (Wasps), Robinson (Sale), Cueto (Sale), Strettle (Harlequins), Tait (Newcastle), Tindall (Gloucester), Farrell (Saracens), Catt (London Irish), Wilkinson (Newcastle), Flood (Newcastle), Ellis (Leicester), Perry (Bristol), Freshwater (Perpignan), Vickery (Wasps), White (Leicester), Payne (Wasps), Chuter (Leicester), Mears (Bath), Deacon (Leicester), Grewcock (Bath), Borthwick (Bath), Palmer (Wasps), Easter (Harlequins), Worsley (Wasps), Haskell (Wasps), Lund (Sale), Rees (Wasps), Corry (Leicester).
